The 'Placement Connect Cafe' needs you!Student Hub, Senate HouseThe 'Placement Connect Cafe' needs you! The University operates a number of 'Placement Connect Cafe' meetings in Senate House (upcoming dates 4.11 and 25.11, see times below). This is aimed at second-year students who are interested in doing a placement year.
These are relaxed, student-led sessions designed to help 2nd year students explore placements, ask questions, share ideas and build confidence about their next steps. Students who have completed placements can reflect on their experiences and offer practical advice, while students considering placements can get honest insights from their peers.
As psychology students, who else is better suited for this than you?
Autumn term dates
Location: Student Hub, Senate House
Completed a placement? Students consistently tell us that hearing directly from other Warwick students is one of the most valuable parts of exploring placements. By sharing your experiences at Placement Connect Caf茅s, you can make a real difference to other students' placement journeys.
As a thank you, students who contribute to 3 Placement Connect Caf茅s during the 2026/27 academic year will earn 1 Core Skills Point towards their Warwick Award (dates for spring and summer term will be shared closer to the time). Staff will be on hand to support the sessions, so all you need to bring is your experience. Interested in attending: Book your slot here:
