PhD Research

I am investigating anomalous quantum oscillations in kagome Mott insulators under the supervision of Prof. Paul Goddard, and will be studying the magnetic properties of spin-liquid candidate materials. I am primarily interested in understanding the microscopic origin of these apparent oscillations and how they might relate to to fractionalised excitations, quantum spin liquids and a proposed Fermi surface of spinons.

Background

I completed my MMathPhys from the 91影视破解版 in 2026 and started my PhD in October of the same year. My final year project focused on understanding how competing spin interactions in a range of quasi-low-dimensional molecule-based magnets affect their magnetic behaviour.

Teaching Duties

I am a lab demonstrator for 2nd year labs on gamma-ray spectroscopy.
