Course extracts (digitised chapters or articles)

We are aware of an issue affecting accessibility tags in some scanned readings when downloaded through Kortext. We are currently working with Talis and Copyright Licensing Agency to investigate and resolve the issue. If you require an accessible version of a digitised chapter or experience any accessibility difficulties, please contact the Library scanning team directly (clascan@warwick.ac.uk) and we will be happy to assist.

The separate course extracts web pages with links to digitised extracts from individual modules are no longer available.

All extracts should now be added to a module in Talis Aspire.

Staff requiring their extracts to be publicised via Aspire should add them to a module reading list in Aspire and use the Request Digitisation (Scans) - Written Guidance and

Please see reading lists: Information and guidance for Academic Staff for step-by-step instructions.

Any staff needing support with this should contact the Reading Lists Team (readinglists.library@warwick.ac.uk).

The University holds a Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) and we can, subject to the terms and conditions, copy and re-use extracts of text and still images from printed books, journals and magazines, and from digital publications (including some websites that are free-to-view but not free-to-copy).

The CLA HE Licence is intended to broaden and enrich the student learning experience, by allowing the University to provide wider access to copyright materials than would otherwise be possible. In parallel, it enables publishers, authors and visual artists to be remunerated for the use of their work.
